Jesús Rodríguez I was Born in Caracas, Venezuela (1985) I currently live in Barcelona, Spain. I am a self-taught Fashion Photographer with a profound passion for cinema and documentary photography, the first time I remember holding a camera was for a memorable trip to Colombia. In 2015, as Venezuela grappled with political unrest and humanitarian challenges, I felt the need for a new perspective. That led me to Melbourne, Australia, where I found myself immersed in the city's culture. It was a significant shift from the lively streets of Caracas to the cosmopolitan surroundings of Australia. Armed with just my phone's camera, I stumbled upon a simple yet powerful tool—a medium for capturing meaningful moments and weaving narratives from the everyday scenes that surrounded me. In 2018, I found in Fashion the perfect challenge to develop my work this venture not only refined my photography skills but also allowed me to develop a distinctive style. By 2020, I made a deliberate decision to make Spain my new home, motivated by a genuine eagerness to broaden my understanding of the fashion industry within a fresh cultural context. Along the way, I've been fortunate to collaborate with models associated with esteemed designers like YSL, Valentino, and Dior. This recognition has led to features in respected international fashion publications, including Schön! Magazine, Contributor, and Vanguard Magazine, among others. My work is always evolving. As a self-taught photographer, my primary goal is to continually improve because I am pursuing what I love most.
